Cute’s T20 World Cup Campaign by Beatnik was nothing short of amazing. This campaign brought out the often overlooked athletes in our National Women’s Cricket Team into the spotlight and resulted in a brilliant ROI.

Campaign Brief

Even though Cute was the sponsor of the National Women’s Cricket Team of Bangladesh, there were big hurdles along the way; the biggest being the noise. It was World Cup season and every brand seemed to leverage that. How do you break the clutter of hundreds of similar campaign focusing on event? Simple. You deliver a strong message, loud and clear.

The second challenge was to bring the athletes in the spotlight. It meant bringing the girls in the center and tailor the whole campaign around them.

Our Approach

We designed an integrated marketing campaign with extensions in both online offline media. The campaign was launched on Facebook and in daily newspaper with the announcement of the sponsorship.

This followed by a strong Facebook campaign which kept the women’s team at the center. This included player interviews which brought them close to the audience on a very personal level. Moreover, we designed a series called #MadeofHonor where we brought the players into the limelight through awe-inspiring artworks. To top it all, we released a thematic introduction video to capture the attention among all the noise.

To support the campaign on the digital media, strong presence in press was ensured. We brought out brilliant designs for press ad in the occasion of Women’s Day on March 9th, 2016. Follow up ads on both Bangla and English print media reinforced the campaign even more.

To generate additional engagement we launched a cricket quiz simultaneously that complimented the campaign and generated more awareness in favor of the women’s cricket team.
